Sitia is a beautiful coastal town on the eastern side of the island of Crete, known for its clear blue shores, its proximity to the famous palm beach at Vai and many tranquil golden sandy shores. A long sandy beach surrounds a wide bay east of the city. Down in the fishing harbor there is a promenade with taverns and cafes.
