The traditional stone house is located in the picturesque village of Pirgou (Pyrgou), 20 minutes drive from Heraklion.
It is located in the middle of the village - typically Cretan among other houses, in a very quiet environment with a view of the nearby mountains. It was built around 1900 and restored from 2007 to 2010 to modern standards, while retaining all traditional elements. The outside entrance leads into the high walled courtyard planted with trees. From there you enter the country-style kitchen-diner with a central wood-burning stove. Between the kitchen and the bedroom, cleverly positioned, is the bathroom with toilet, walk-in shower and bathtub. The bedroom also has its own exit. A wooden staircase leads to the large living room on the upper floor with a gallery and gallery, suitable as an office, library and guest bed. From the living room you go out onto the terrace with a panoramic view. On the terrace is the entrance to the guest room with its own toilet and sink.
There are parking spaces about 50 meters away on the next street.

The quiet and traditional village of Pirgou (also Pyrgou) is located in the interior of Crete, around 25 km southwest of Heraklion. Culture lovers will get their money's worth here, as there are several interesting Byzantine churches to admire. During the Venetian occupation, wine was produced in the village from the Muscat grape variety.
