Near the small Cretan town of Neapoli, Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi, Crete, lies this old (1926) detached stone house on a large, fenced private plot of 528 m² with a beautiful yard and garden.
The house is one-story with neoclassical features and divided into several rooms, all with large wooden windows.
It measures approximately 128 m² and consists of a hallway connecting all the rooms of the house, a large living/dining room with two doors and windows, directly opposite a second living room with two windows (which could be used as a double room), and a second bedroom overlooking the front terrace. On the left side of the house are a bathroom with bathtub, another double bedroom, and a kitchen with access to the side terrace and a second exit from the property.
The house needs renovation, with the ceilings needing repair, but it is a good, durable structure with solid stone walls.
The house has a beautiful wraparound porch with a central entrance to the right of the building, a side entrance from the kitchen to the left of the building, and a really nice yard and garden with several fruit trees in the back.
There are two storage rooms under the building, accessible from the street, which offer enough space to be converted into a garage.

Neapoli is a lively town, just a few minutes from the national road route, and offers a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafe/bars, restaurants, a weekly market, as well as banks and a post office. The town is situated at the start of a long valley that slopes gently down to Agios Nikolaos. The centre is a spacious square with a church, next to which is a shady park with palm and pine trees. The resort and beaches of Agios Nikolaos are 11 km away and the coast of Milatos and Sissi are 10 km away. There is a regular bus service from the town centre.
