This is a two bedroom detached house in the traditional village of Kasteli, Fourni, Agios Nikolaos, Lasithi, Crete.
The house is just a short walk from the main street of the village and from some nice cafes and local taverns.The 120 square meter bungalow stands on a private plot of 800 square meters.
The house consists of 2 double bedrooms, an internal storage room, a bathroom, a large living room, a kitchen and a hallway.
The house needs some minor restoration work (mainly aesthetic).Outside and next to the main house there is a large storage room/utility room (35 m²).
There are ripe olive, orange, tangerine, lemon and other fruit trees at the front and back of the house.
There is a large flat roof (accessed via an external metal staircase) which could easily be converted into a roof terrace with wonderful mountain and nature views.There is also a private parking space next to the house entrance.
As mentioned above, the house needs some work, but mainly of an aesthetic nature (painting, decoration, etc.).

Just a short drive from Kasteli are the neighboring village of Fourni (1 km), the small town of Neapolis (5 minutes drive), the seaside resort of Elounda (15 minutes drive) and the coastal town of Agios Nikolaos (20 minutes drive).
Agios Nikolaos is the capital of Lasithi County and is located on Mirabello Bay in northeast Crete, just 45 minutes from Heraklion International Airport.
Geographically, the city is well protected from strong winds, which allows water sports and swimming almost all year round.
Although Agios Nikolaos has less than 20.000 inhabitants, it has several banks, supermarkets, all kinds of shops, doctors, a modern high standard hospital, a public swimming pool and tennis courts, a marina, a port, a cinema, a theater, gyms, etc. 9 -hole golf course, schools from kindergarten to 6 grade high school and generally all the amenities you would expect in a modern European city.
The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the temperate temperatures rarely exceed 30°C in summer or fall below 15°C in winter. This wonderful dry climate along with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of Greece's first class hotels to come here to work.

Neapoli is a lively town just minutes from the national highway route and offers a good selection of local shops, supermarkets, cafes/bars, restaurants, a weekly market as well as banks and a post office. The town lies at the beginning of a long valley that slopes gently down to Agios Nikolaos. The center is a spacious square with a church, next to it is a shady park with palm trees and pine trees. The resort and beaches of Agios Nikolaos are 11 km away and the coast of Milatos and Sissi is 10 km away. There is a regular bus service from the city center and Heraklion International Airport is within 40 minutes' drive.
