Sisi (Sissi) is a lovely little fishing village on the north coast, 6 km northwest of Vrachasi and 6 km east of Malia, 22 km northwest of Agios Nikolaos and 35 km east of Heraklion. Compared to the tourist hotspot Malia, it is still quiet here. Almost all of life takes place in and around the relatively large harbor. It is located on a steep coast, there are hardly any beaches in the village. Instead, you will find beautiful taverns and cafes with great views of the sea. The shops are open all year round.
