The traditional mountain village of Mirsini is located in northeastern Crete, in the Lasithi district. It is located on the road between Agios Nikolaos and Sitia. The name Mirsini means "myrtle," and indeed, many myrtle bushes grow there. From here, you have a magnificent view of the sea and Mochlos. The landscape is breathtaking, and this is a good starting point for many hikes. The village has a restaurant, a café, a mini-market, and a small pottery shop where you can buy souvenirs.
