Aroni is a traditional village on the Akrotiri Peninsula and offers beautiful views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains. In Aroni there are mini markets, bakeries, shops, restaurants, pharmacies and other shops. The village is just 15 minutes drive from Chania and just 5 km from the international airport. A wider range of amenities are available in Kounoupidiana, just 2 km from the village. Many locals choose Aroni due to its proximity to all amenities and schools. Some of the best and natural sandy beaches in Greece (Marathi, Loutraki, Kalathas, Tersanas, Stavros) are easily accessible from the village via the main road.
