Lampini is a small, picturesque village 25 km from the town of Rethymnon. Its architecture and traditions have been deeply rooted for centuries. The narrow, paved cobblestone paths lead to the square and entrance to the traditional village, where locals and visitors gather to enjoy their coffee. The older houses are built of stone. Whitewashed and tidy, they connect architecturally with the newer buildings.
